1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BugSnap ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

BugSnap is a bug reporting tool that allows users to capture screen recordings, console logs, network requests, and other debugging information through a browser extension and related web services. The Service enables teams to create, share, and manage bug reports efficiently.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may not use another person's account without permission
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Record content without proper authorization or consent
  • Capture sensitive personal information (PII) of others without consent
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the Service for competitive analysis or benchmarking
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload, record, or create using the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of uploading or sharing it. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to capture and share the content in your bug reports.

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

6. Organizations and Teams

  • Organization administrators have control over workspace settings and member access
  • Administrators may set policies regarding data retention, integrations, and sharing
  • Members must comply with their organization's policies in addition to these Terms
  • We may share information with organization administrators as required for enterprise features

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (Jira, Slack, Linear, GitHub, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Pricing

Certain features of the Service require payment. Pricing information is available on our website. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

8.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ValPetal Tech Labs and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUGSNAP AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or data
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted through the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BugSnap and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data before termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ValPetal Tech Labs is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
